Welcome to Help the Homeless in Bradford

Our Key Objectives:

  • To help define any problems underlying the housing crisis.
  • To help obtain statutory services to which there is a right.
  • Where appropriate, to help re-establish positive family links.
  • To support the acquisition of independent living skills.
  • To support the transition to full independence.

Our Services:

  • Advocacy: Including benefits entitlement, accessing services under the 1989 Childrens Act and representation for refugees.
  • Supported Shared Housing: Structured to encourage young people to gain the skills necessary to live independently.
  • Resettlement: Ensuring that the transition from supported to fully independent living is successful.
  • Family Mediating: Enabling young people to have positive contact with their families whilst they are at home or in re-establishing contact when they have left home.
